Submitted on 8/6/2016 Review title of TensiveSloth510Hardcore retro shooterThis is a great spaceship.bullet hell. shooter. Essentally, one life per level, or boss. Win or start over. It has 16 bit graphics and a killer metal acoustic sound track.
I personally, would like the game better if it had easy, and medium level difficulty levels. But then I guess it wouldn't be a. bullet hell. game if it were too easy.
Though I think it would appeal to amuch larger audience if it had options to set the difficulty. Even if your not a.bullet hell. fan, if you like 80's. Retro 80's games or spasceship shooters, this game is solid when you want a hour of mindless fun.
Submitted on 6/13/2017 Review title of BloodyKisses xFire Everything!Your're under attack by space pirates! So hop in your ship and fight back! Check your reflexes though because this game throws more and more at you each wave of enemies you come across. Each wave is different and random.
Even after dying and starting over, which adds to the challenge. Don't worry because you can dish it back with a variety of weapon and upgrade pickups after destroying cargo ships and defeating the bosses. Bosses that each have their own unique and creative attack patterns.
Although the patterns are fun to look at, some are not easy to dodge. Steredenn is definitely an easy to pick up but hard to master game. Each time you die, you start all over. It's not so bad though because each time you die, you learn from it and play better.
The achievements are fairly decent. Putting in the fun hours and eventually beating the game will unlock the majority of them. Steredenn is one chaotic game that is easy to play and have fun with. Submitted on 9/2/2018 Review title of Isaac KawasaAn ok game, but NEEDS polishing. The game has an amazing soundtrack, weapons, graphics, and sound effects, but stops there. The game design seemed confused on whether or not it wanted to be a bullet hell or a side scrolling shooter. When it decides to be a bullet hell the screen is either way to crazy with everything, making bullets blend in with the background (or in two seperate cases unavoidable), or he bullets and enemies appear suddenly and you have 1/10th of a second to react. That's not an exageration.
When the game is a side scrolling shooter it's rather fun if not confusing. Weapons and upgrades will often leave you confused as to what they do. While homing missiles and torpedos sound straight forward, baygun and hyper firelaser do not. And, after picking up a weapon you decide you do not want it you only have a few seconds to try to move over to where your last gun is to retrieve it before it disappears. Keep in mind you have enemy lasers, asteroids, ships, missiles, etc firing on you the whole time.
